For some reason I get my best ideas when I am in the shower. I am not yet sure if the opportunity to be alone with my thoughts is the key to creative thinking. Or whether it is simply because there really isn’t much else to think about, other than how our bathroom might need re-tiling soon.

Either way, that is how Choose My Music came to be.

The site originally started out as a ‘random review’ website. People would randomly select albums from my ever growing music collection and I would write about them.

Then I felt that I also wanted to include music which is new to me – so I started to write and interview indie and unsigned bands from all corners of the globe.

I have a huge passion for discovering and sharing new music and I hope that shows as you make your way round the site.
